I think the reason why I connect/resonate with you is because of your ability to translate your feelings into words which I'm having difficulty in doing. Thank you for explaining to me/us, your viewers, what we are currently experiencing and the emotions that come with it. The next time I'm being asked what I'm feeling, I'll just simply show them a video of you so they would know what it is that's been running in my mind.

This truly means so much to me. This is what I try so hard to do with my videos and it makes me feel good that you get it. I appreciate you & I’ll always be here to put your feelings into words when you aren’t sure how 🫶🏼

I literally had a long ass cry last night about feeling SOOO lonely. I really haven’t made any friends since graduating from HS in 2019, my classes are online, and all of my high school friends and I have grown apart and I’ve been completely alone for a while. I just really needed what you said at the end of this video, so thank you ❤️ It seems like the universe knew what she was doing with that one.
@haileyelizabeth74412 жыл бұрын
I also graduated in 2019 and didn’t go to college, I am in the 9-5 world and actually love it, but I have my spouse who works weird hours (usually overnight) and I spend majority of my time at home alone and it sucks. You’re not alone in the way you feel
@ilianaesqu2 жыл бұрын
this was actually so comforting. i recently moved for graduate school and although i would consider my cohort my friends, we don’t hang out of class. i’m hoping to find those friends soon and it’s nice to know that it took other people some time to find that group too

I've realised that a part of growing up is also losing and making new friends, and that's okay! the most important part is that we keep the real ones close and embrace only healthy and amazing friendships! quality over quantity ALWAYS 💜this video felt like a really cosy episode from friends and i am just here for it!!! love ya miss Hannah! 🫶🎃

Interested in where & how you met people...and the transition into calling them friends. I meet a ton of people, but find it hard to get to the "friends" level. Looked like a fun time!!!
@squidwardtentacles71442 жыл бұрын
Honestly I have the same problem, but I don't view it ad a bad thing. It keeps you safe. You're not meant to be besties with everyone. And not ever deserves to be included in your life/inner most thoughts and moments. I always think it's better to have a close set of friends than a long list of acquaintances.
@olbird76472 жыл бұрын
As you get older friends tend to be less in quantity but greater in quality! Also, it was probably harder for you to make connections because you're not going out to a traditional job. Whenever I've moved to new places I use Meetup to join up with peeps for social events 😊

for the past couple of years, you have been my favorite youtuber for so many reasons but one main reason being how similar your experience during early college was. my 1st year was so difficult, i remember crying when break would end and i’d have to go back. it made me realize i’m not built to handle some things like other people do, i have to find my own way and balance. Moving away again later, finding happiness after that experience was so SO scary. realizing you are happy and the move is a good thing, is one of the best feelings in the world! I am so happy for you Hannah, thank you for always putting your feelings into words and sharing them w us, bc i relate to them so hard. sending so much love 💜

I moved around 12 years ago to a smaller college town (21,000ish full time residents and 35,000 students at the university that live here during the school year) and still haven't met any new friends. My son made friends but I am such an introvert with severe social anxiety and I struggle with trauma PTSD so trusting people is hard for me, plus I don't work outside my home so its been a big struggle to find friends. I really felt how alone I was a few months ago after my emotional support dog passed away and the only person here for me was my son. I really appreciate you talking about how long it took you to find friends.

This is what I need! I also just graduated from college (I see you also went to Temple University), I'm still living in Philadelphia, and I have no friends. (I have one friend but I think I will be seeing him a lot less since he's now starting a family.) But really, it makes me jealous when I look on social media and I see everyone with a friend group. But I guess I should take your advice and keep putting myself out there. I go to a lot of concerts (I know some people in some local bands) and I have seen a few people recognize me, so I guess this is a start.
