I'm going to NYC this summer and you're just like me when I travel..I walk EVERYWHERE. I use public transportation or rideshare as a last resort. Great video! Definitely going to visit that romance bookstore.

New York seems like a walkable city. I never been but seeing how crowded the city seems I assume everything is walkable especially times square or downtown

Wow! I should have visited New York before the holidays! Then I could have gotta vegan bagel, Lol I was there for the Macy's Thanksgiving parade and the cops had a lot of streets blocked off I only got to eat a one vegan eaterier.

Never been to New York but planning my own solo trip in December. Might pop to Times Square to have a look but for me it doesn’t appeal to me that much. Not going to travel all the way from the UK and eat at a McDonalds or go to a Madam Tussaud’s because we have them in UK. I want to experience the areas outside and local foods.

Trust me Times Square is not worth it it's my least favorite place in nyc, just crowded and weird ppl everywhere that are trying to sell anything to you

Yeah supposedly there are sleeping pods at terminal 5 for about $15-20 per hour, but I never made it over there to actually see lol

I feel it. I've only been there once for a brief period so idk if I have many tips of where to stay. But I never felt unsafe during my stay. I liked staying in the Chelsea area, & brooklyn was nice

@@Makiah thanks a lot! i’ve heard so many different opinions about safety in nyc, so im a bit nervous about it, but since i saw you walking more than i will probably in a whole week and you still felt safe i think ill be fine hahaha

Long island city is always nice! I feel safe when i stay at LIC Hotel or the LIC Hostel next door. Very affordable. I mean, i feel safe in most parts of the city, but I've also solo traveled quite a bit and just don't feel unsafe in NYC

Yeah I'd recommend it. It's a small boutique hotel so keep that in mind, but all the staff were really cool
