Love this video. It's shocking that Lauren King isn't a principal dancer - I always include her in that category in my mind. She always shines on stage and her footwork is incredible. Beautiful to hear the pianist point of view...she makes it seem so effortless that it's easy to forget how much work is going into the music as well.

Having seen it from the audience multiple times, I want to say that the new costumes for Tschai No 2 elegantly flatter the dancers' body proportion; but the lack of contrast in color between principals and corps make the 40 minutes ballet a bit tiring to watch. Towards the end, it fails to bring out the brilliance of the music and choreography. I hope the principal costumes come back in distinctive shades. I also want to suggest the costume studio spend some time/money to update the men's costumes. For example the Jewels' women's costumes are timeless, but the men's shoulder pads make them look very clumsy and neckless in proportion..
