NYCT Bus: C40LFs and XN40s on the B3, B6 and B36 bus routes

Due to a shortage of 23 buses at the Ulmer Park depot during the last week of April, buses from the Jackie Gleason depot were loaned to Ulmer Park depot. As you may or may not know Jackie Gleason's bus fleet is fully compromised of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses and normally don't run in service on any routes from other depots that are not CNG based. This led to the rare opportunity of being able to see CNG type buses running on the B3, B6, B36, B64 and B74 bus routes which typically use diesel buses on a daily basis.
