qwandiddy I honestly don't remember which street or freeway. I do know that this unit was at Manhattanville & Kingsbridge Depot so this was either recorded between those times

A long time ago, I heard a RTS in San Antonio that had a 6-71 and it was loud! I never had a chance to ride one i think it was around somewhere in 2009 or 2010..

I remember taking these on the Bx9 up Kingsbridge Terrace. They were terrible on steep hills. Series 50 has so much more power

I remeber these buses would take forever to climb the Ogden Ave Hill on the BX13. The series 50 would do it in half the time.

Depends I heard the 6v92 was a more powerful engine. They probably had the less powerful one I know lactmta didn't repower theirs because the 50 performed more sluggish than the 6v92

@@maddmaxx14 Impossible. Series 50 was an all around way better engine in all aspects. However, true bus fans appreciated the sound of the 6V92 more. That's the god honest truth
