That’s my favorite gel. I use it before Deva Curl Wavemaker. Use on soaking wet hair.

@@joequirke8596 thanks for the tip! I'm wondering if wavemaker is for my type of hair though. I looked it up - seems more for waves rather than curls. It will work better probably for me after I do Keratin which is beginning of summer.

Yup looks good! Try Biotera gel it has no alcohol or any of the bad stuff too. I use over the cream for some hold. The crunch is minimal and scrunches out easily.

your hair looks amazing but there are many hair gel without alkohol :) you should try because your curls looks 10x better with gel than with cream

Oh thanks! I will have to look up which gels do not contain alcohol and try them. Gel DOES do a good job defining the curls you are right!

I suggest trying the arc angel gel from deva curl. Less protein and feels better

Try using styling cream first and then gel.

Ur hair is supposed to be sopping wet with this gel not half dry or even towel dried. Or the product doesn’t work properly
