Those injuries are firecrackers related (specifically Piccolo firecrackers) and not from fireworks like the ones shown in this video.

@@RixSt these usually goes on in other countries mostly here in PH until like 2017 (few months before the ban law) idk how it happend maybe since fireworks costs a lot But we still have some injuries but in 2019 has low cases

This is what makes our New Years eve celebration unique and festive. Wag na iboto mga polpolitiko na kill joy na nagbaban sa paputok sa New Year. once a year lang yan. Wag kayong kill joy. Kung takot kayo sa paputok, magtago na lang kayo sa loob ng bahay nyo.

Ang alam ko sa Sydney ay merong fireworks display every NYE. Ang pinagkaiba lang naman nila sa Pilipinas ay meron silang designated area para sa fd, samantalang dito sa Pilipinas ay legal na bumili ang mga tao ng fireworks o pailaw. Once a year lang naman yan. Yung pagtulong sa mahirap o kapwa, pwede mong gawin all year round. Yung mga pets na nasa city ay pwede mo rin namang ilagay sa loob ng bahay o hayaang magtago sa lugar na safe sila. Every NYE kahit ang mga mauunlad na bansa ay merong fireworks display. Hindi dahil "kaka-iba" yung ginagawa ng mga Pilipino ay mali na agad ito.
