I didn't knit a single sock in 2022 I just completely went off the idea of knitting them but after seeing yours I kinda want some new ones! I've never made the mercury socks. The very first skein of hand dyed yarn I ever bought was from one of your first updates and I've still got it in my stash, perhaps that would be a nice way to start 2023 xx

Lovely to see all your knitted pieces - beautifully done as always :-) Being from Denmark where we learned continental style knitting in school (I knit a lot these days), my advice must be to control your yarn tension by bending or stretching your index finger. It may sound weird, but trust me it works. :-)

I've loved your videos thank you! As to New Years resolutions, we always choose a word for the year. Just one word - for instance "Joy" or "Expansion" or "prosperity" or "peace" or whatever you really want to manifest in your life. It's much easier to keep the word in your mind as a focus as you go about your day. Happy new year dear Ami 🌟🎉❤️

My ‘resolutions’ are picking a few topics I want to study in the new year (2023=medicinal herbs + history of China + solar energy) and improving a skill I already know (Calligraphy) + something new to master (sourdough everything). I’ve done pretty well with this system!!

Happy New Year Ami 🎉 as a English knitter I found my tension on a 2.25mm needle for socks was tightening my right hand, I dropped down too 60 sts and a 2.50mm , I have found much better. ❤
