NYFF Q&A: Little Shop of Horrors

After a screening of the director's cut of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at the 50th New York Film Festival, director Frank Oz, actress Ellen Greene, composer Alan Menken and film restorer Kurt Galvao took the stage of the Walter Reade Theater for a Q&A about the making of the film and some surprise live performances!

I actually cried when Ellen Greene sang "Somewhere that's green." I've never cried to that song before. She has such a moving performance.

This was a great video and I really enjoyed hearing the discussion and the songs. The only odd part was the Howard Ashman song at the end. It seemed awkward that he was singing a song I'd never heard before and it was hard to understand him.
