Michael, if someone doesn't have much mid-foot, would putting orthotics in your golf shoes help?

I'd be interested to see how the balance and pressure distribution of a no mid-foot (people with high/strong arches) would be if they were wearing hard structured insoles that are contoured to their feet (ex: Superfeet). My guess is that it would equally distribute the pressure across the pressure pad as if they had a midfoot on the pressure sensor. Next let's talk about balance. Modern Biomechanics say the best way to balance on the feet is to stack the pressure above the ankles. From there you can rotate in balance (no falling forward on face, or back on butt). If however you shift weight/pressure on the balls or toes of the feet it puts pressure on the knees - which are only structured to make the legs bend. The knees are not structured to rotate. Loading the knees with pressure are not good for the knees, body, nor one's golf game. Looking at good ball strikers you don't see their rear knee, hip, or foot jut out in heel to toe direction. To use a modern example look at Rory Mcilroy at impact. His rear foot is often flat or close to it at impact, and the rear leg is straight (or very close to it) - not jutted out toward the ball to the target line. Look at a bunch of the top ball strikers of the past that returned their shaft plane at impact to the same location, or close to the setup plane (Ben Hogan, Sergio Garcia, Nick Faldo, etc) their hips are still back at impact, not moved out to the ball to target line. Pressure plate companies want to make it look like there is a bunch of shifting around heel to toe during the swing, so people will buy their plates, but the other scientific studies of motion in the the golf swings of elite ball strikers contradicts that theory.

Hi Michael, Can I please ask what software and system you are using for the full body scan and the spinal structure and muscle imbalances please? Thank you in advance.

Interesting, What is your feeling about Goata pattern movement without a mid foot walking pattern?
