Great content as always man 👍🏻 I’m a UK lure angler and after years of slowly upgrading my sonar from traditional, adding down scope , side imaging, trying 3D and most recently upgrading to a Lowrance Active Target system (live scope) I can honestly say it’s a game changer. It’s not useable in every situation but it will undoubtedly put more fish on your boat and your tournaments will be won by those with it. Keep up with the times and ignore those that don’t like change! 😎

@@GregBlanchardFishing Amazing. Very well done. I’m familiar with the area as in my motorsports days I raced at Watkins Glen and travelled the surrounds. That entire area is beautiful. Quite a contrast to Southern California. Yuk. Stay well sir.

Hey man, just wanted to say thanks! You gave me some tips on getting pics of fish on a ketch board. Today I had my PB bag 76.75 inches with big fish! Appreciate the advice! A small bag in comparison to some of yours. But my lakes pale in comparison.

Hey Greg! Good to see you! I've noticed in your tournament videos you sometimes don't know if a fish will keep or not. Instead of taking the time to get the yellow board out have you considered using the pole already in your hand with a small 12" marking on it just to check before pulling the board out? May save some time and headaches! Good luck and see you next time :)
@jkell411 Жыл бұрын
I've commented before on this, but Greg needs to put some 12-14" markings right on the side of his kayak as a quick reference for fish size. Put a couple marks right on the inside of the boat where you bring the fish up to so you can quickly measure it up. Super easy and convenient.
@daniellemoyer7137 Жыл бұрын
Greggg add it to the tournament playlist!! 😊

Been getting more confidence in the kayak managing 2 rods. Always get the bite when I'm tied up messing around with birdsnests. And getting the lines twisted. I'll either snap off from setting the hook too hard. Or not penetrate and lose the fish when it's pulling me. So many frustrating days, but when I do catch a good one, all the frustration melts away. Had a planned trip today, but 50+km winds is keeping me outta the kayak. Damn. Time for a greg video.

What’s the ruff estimate of weight of a 21 inch fish ? I have never measured a bass I just weigh them

Really depends on how fat the fish is which usually coincides with time of year. In the spring, in general, a 21'' fish should be around 6 pounds

Killing me Greg. Swim that jig....a lot of ways to fish a jig. Dragging is just one. Question: Your prefishing was done under cloudy conditions. With the tournament being bright and sunny it's my experience that the fish will relate tighter to cover the brighter the day. Did you slow down in your 2 good areas and fish all of the shallow laydowns seen on the bank?
