Great content. I love nylonove pedals but after trying hextech pedals it's my new favorite now.

Ohh okay, haven't tried them. Why do you prefer them?

@Floaty Piet my nylonove was making sound after 3000km no crash. Hextech has same grip as nylonove, almost same weight at 600 grams and it's wider than nylonove. Lastly CNC feels more premium than plastic

@@alexutlang okay, 400g more on an EUC you probably can't even feel. If I get a chance to try them I'll definitely remember your words😂

Thanks, nice video, clear and concise. I’m thinking about getting these..they look so much better than the grip take set ups. 👍

Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad I could help :) Yeahhh The Originals look really boring. But you’ll have a different wheel when you change the pedals. With the favourite tire and the Jump Pads it really rocks! What do you ride?

Hey, nice video. I wanted to buy them for my V12HT, but I bought new Inmotion Honeycomb pedals for 80USD, it also works and looks awesome (nylonove are sold out all the time). But the reason I wanted to buy the Nylonove was the plastic, which should bend a bit and be more comfy than my CNC pedals. Do you think that these pedals works like a little suspension or it makes no real difference? I want to make my V12 as comfy as possible because it lacks suspension...

Thank you for your comment! If you got the Inmotion Honeycomb for 80 USD you definitely got the better deal I guess. I haven't ridden them, but as long they are big and grippy I guess it's already a huge and great upgrade. And no, I wouldn't call the Nylonove 'soft'. It's super durable plastic. To get your V12 as soft as possible, the best shoot you'd probably have by changing the tire to the most comfeyest tire you can finde. Definitely knobby. And taking some air out also helps, but that obviously comes with the risk of damaging your wheel when riding stairs or hitting curbes. I can just relate to my RS19HT which hat the CST 186 and I really enjoy it. But a friend of mine is all about the Kenda K262. If you can find tires in this direction, that might help :)

I can share my experience with a veteran sherman. For me, the change from original pedals to Nylonove came with a nice surprise. The initial reason i bought them was for grip and better mud resistance thanks to the honeycomb design and spikes. Change of the dihedral angle to make it a bit more angled towards the wheel gave me more control and made it less likely for me to slip. I was pleasantly surprised by how light they were while i don't think i could feel the difference of weight while riding. They have been solid for more then 3000 miles with only minor scratches on the underside. The really nice surprise is that i really felt less foot fatigue on long rides. The plastic material has some very mild flex and absorbs a tiny bit of the vibration and shocks in the road. On long rides, I can really feel the difference and it is definitely not placebo as i can ride longer before foot fatigue happens. I wouldn't say it is like a suspension but more like the feeling of running on forest ground vs hard floor. It just feels better to me as there is less shock on joints and less hardness. I think this added bonus may not be as important on a suspension wheel, but on regular wheels it will help out with comfort. So will a knobby tire and a bit less PSI but be aware of the risk of rim damage. Everything has it's pros and cons. All in all, I really love Nylonove pedals and for me, they are worth it since I ride almost everyday.

Doesn’t the cutout for the power pads on the side of the pedals bother you or make you feel less stable?

No, not at all. But because I have quite big feet, I need to put the power pads a little higher anyways, so I'm just at the corner of not needing the cut out (I think). I'm happy to have it though. I don't feel the cut out on my feet.
