When I was 14 I first heard this song and sample, and now Im 17, starting to apply to colleges, and it's wild that 3 years have gone by so fast. I get how time goes so fast, but going so fast only makes it worse. I wish I could go back to those times when I had nothing to worry about. But on a side note, I just wanted to say that I finally found out where the sample comes from. Episode 15/16 (i think 16) Cowboy Bebop. i finally am watching the series lol, and it's already in my top 5 animes even though i have 8 episodes left.

I know right? I saw a bunch of comments talking about how awesome and misunderstood introverts are, but I guess they didn't listen to the whole thing Don't get me wrong I'm more of an introvert myself but this song isn't really singing the praises of solitude, it's doing the opposite

I think that it really depends on why you want solitude. The woman talking in the beginning is using solitude as a shield in case anyone tries to hurt her. However, there are some people that really do feel lonely in a group, and being able to almost own their own loneliness might be better for them. The song itself isn't praising solitude, which is something a lot of people in the comments seem to think. Personally, I think the big takeaway is that you need to know why you actually want the solitude. Is it out of fear or is it because it'll actually help you? I dunno, that's just what I think.

this song is in my heart forever it has a feeling that which is beyond existence
Theres to the future, lucky enough that we made it this far, rolling around in our Toyota car, sound of the engine like sounds of the planets from sun out to mars, i mean, space is a vacuum but so is my heart, chasing is action but acting is hard -- cuz we could be marching or we could just start, you could be falling for me really hard, or you could be fronting and we could be facing in finity farther apart, this is expression more then this has been art, its been impossible to separate my mind from the parts of my soul that feel like yours 13 hours of dark... Oregons really warm for now but winter will start and what will we do, every drive to work i see the bridges and the 50 see through, i mean five oh three two, uh Im lost here, gps can lead to destinations the journey seems to cost here, its not clear, it hasnt even rained and the clouds are looking heavy with thoughts here, depression like a cape around my neck, cuz i can fly but the rain thats coming caint be light air, this is nothing ill regret, but if i dont tell it honest, who will listen to my story when the future is upon us?
