The first shot: as a rule, I don't like A4s to be in black, but Sir Nigel looks just great here. Stunning drone shots. It's so pleasant to see a summer scenery and such a rich green foliage... I know it was the 1st of October but it looks just like summer to me, especially when it's -14 C. Thank you for a most beautiful video.

I agree. I pefer SNG either in LNER Garter Blue or BR Blue, but I do like the Wartime Black. And besides there not many Steam Locos from the Big Four in the Preservation era carry Wartime Black?

@@lnerrules-iw6ry What locos are the Big Four you mentioned? I know that A4s were repainted black for the war period of time, obviously in order to make them more "invisible" for Luftwaffe.

It would be nice. It hasn't return to steam yet. And when it does, it needs to run in at the Severn Valley Railway and then do a mainline test before it comes to the Moors?

NYMR guests in 2025 will likely be North Eastern, because of S&DR 200 anniversary. The NER Autocar is already confirmed, and a streamliner is rumoured.
