Beautiful journey thank you, what more could be asked, Repton working well in strong voice and a generous covering of the white stuff.

Really enjoyed this. It would be interesting to know more about how train crews at each end coordinate power / braking. Love this railway!!

Steam engines are beautiful... The sweet sweet sound of their chuffs, it's like ASMR in real time

Oh dear, signal passed at danger due to frozen points resulted in a nasty accident at Goathland in an episode of Heartbeat, I seem to recall 😕

What was the banker on this train? A 37? The second train had an open wagon with, what looked like, a gen set. Why?

Probably something similar to the 'Light Spectacular' they did in 2021 & 2022, light up the engine & carriages with christmas lights, kzbin.info/www/bejne/manTg3Sbf998n9k

Lookes like 37264. The generator is to supply power for the restaurant buffet car and the extra lighting

Superb video. if you tape a piece of foam over the mic .....then no more wind noise! Apart from that Superb

shame about the wind noise but a good video none the less.

Slight wind- sound , gives a sense of speed , through the frosty air ,but the sensation of Exception , seeing us passing the Goathland Signal 2, Up , at Danger , was an interesting surprise ! But a brilliant indication of the Resourcefulness of the railways safety management , even in the face of extremes of winter weather . A fantastic experience, to see all this, again & again ..

@@robertplace6131 All one needs is a piece of foam over the mic. Then you can hear the motion and not the wind!
