Күн бұрынMonday 23rd December a quick visit down to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to see the Santa Special that is running from Pickering. Pulled by the Black 5 No.44806 on the front and Class 37 No.37264 on the rear. But it would appear that the Class 37 was doing all the work

I was going to try and visit for the Santa specials but the only weekend which would have been worth it I was unable too. Nice capture of from various spots. Shame it was Diesel and not two steam locos on each end considering there was no Grosmont to Goathland.

@@railway_photographer ye the diesel was doing pretty much all the work which was a bit rubbish really but hey ho. I did ask as to why they weren't doing it from Grosmont and it was so they could put more effort and have more actors up at Pickering. Ye they were all new locations for me so glad you liked the video 👍👍👍
