I found your tutorials very inspiring years ago and it is good to see you still doing content.

hey james, I just wanted to give you props for always being the man. I just checked, and those first module demos you did was 13 years ago. Much love from a fellow early Muffs user :)

don't think i've ever actually heard a telharmonic be FMed before, sounds fantastic! PTCG has given me some great ideas music, here's one back, though not modular related. i did a 11 min chaos driven drone with a bunch of voices a month or so ago, and it's rare i have the patience to listen to something like that often. decided to speed it up (preserving the pitch) to see if it was still good. thought it was an interesting concept for checking oneself with performances like this.

What’s the module to the left of the QPAS? And thank you for Patch the card game! I have both packs and I use them all the time.

Really happy you love Patch TCG! That module is a Folktek Gait - the little touch pads output a gate (or trig depending on the patches output) whenever you touch one of the corresponding copper pads. Simple but useful.

Nice patch and thanks for the exposure to all flesh. Which instances have you felt them most useful? They look like they really enhance the patch.

I like them a lot for FM and other modulation that has a strong effect, something that you may want to use as a flourish or effect, or want to have the modulation source distributed to a bunch of places, but it doesn't necessarily need to be simultaneous or permanently patched. They are fantastic with clock signals too. Particularly between a clock and the sequencer. You can also mix clock signals through your skin! Touch a couple different outputs on a clock divider and the clock (or reset!) input of the sequencer (I think I do this once or twice, but maybe my hand covers it). They do take some planning out and there is a bit of an art to deciding what is going to be patched using a single hand and which needs to be done using two, but that's part of the fun.

@@jamescigler Thanks for the detailed reply. I will check these out and pick up a pack of them.

@@jamescigler So great! I love how they animate the modules. Sorry for the newb question, but who makes them?
