Idk if it's right or wrong but if the performer is putting on one hell of a stage show and we KNOW it's them voices i don't really mind so much lip syncing. Now on there other hand we do pay to see live performance but.... they are still live. Idk, I've seen and heard good and bad. Im not a singer so i truly don't know what is all coming into play to make the calls they have to make.

they lowered the key probably due to Joe's vocal changing, Joe started to cue the audience to clap along which wasn't the idea since it's a slow song then Jordan bursted into laugh and was gigling the rest of the song ( poor boy he can't handle it :) ) and the other boys tried to hold them selves together..those were the days...:D

This might be the only video in existence internet-wise where they are not lip syncing this song from 87-89, Joey in particular. They had to drop the song down a tone. But Joey still nailed it. This has to be around the time when they recorded the Christmas album because by the time they record that, you can clearly hear that poor Joe’s voice is right in the middle of changing. “I Still Believe In Santa Claus” is a prime example of how much his voice changed from the recording of Hangin Tough to Funky Christmas. But this is the only clip I can remember seeing where his voice is still kind of childish like the two early records before Step By Step. His voice was so much deeper by that time. I remember hearing him do “Step 4- I can give you more” and thinking poor Joey. Once his voice settled he learned how to hit the high notes again. He sounded great in “If You Go Away”, and he really nails this song live nowadays since they reunited in 2008. I don’t even think they drop the key when they do it now, but I could be mistaken! Such an amazing video clip. Poor guys were laughing at how ridiculous and young the audience was at this show and it makes me so happy to see them break for just a moment there. You could tell Donnie and Jordan were egging it on and then Joey loses it for a second! Such an amazing and rare clip. 😂😂❤❤
