The hmong language is such a beautiful language, as it's all tonal. What is tonal? It's like singing, emphasizing the ending of each word, so when you speak hmong it's like you're singing! Hmong is perhaps the only language that is like that. So when you sing in hmong, it is twice as powerful! Yet I don't understand why some people would not embrace this beautiful language. There is no translation for some words that are "raug raug siab".

Hmong is not the only tonal language in the world. Ever heard of Chinese(Mandarin), Tai, Vietnamese..etc??

Majority of asian languages are in the tonal language families. Hmong have 8 or so tones per each word .(correct me if I am wrong) Vietnamese has 7 tonnes Mandarin Chinese has 5 tonnes Cantonese Chinese has 6 tones Thai has 5 tones ect
