The front left one did lol...at 1:22 mark, well it clung on for a little while before coming completely off at 1:34.

Autocrossing in a bubble Caprice 9C1? HELL TO THE YES! NYPD Caprice is among my favorite police vehicles of all time. Looks killer doing these crazy maneuvers with the emergency lights on.

Absolutely love my 08 crown victoria P71, but I'd love to experience driving one of these someday. Miss the days of seeing primarily Caprices and Crown vic's as police and taxi's as a kid.

Those sway-bars are working hard :D The Police suspension those had was actually amazing if it was in good shape. I had a 1991 Caprice Classic as a daily driver in Finland from 2009 to 2020, best car ever! Almost every Caprice that was sold here was ordered by the dealer with the police suspension.

These cars are still pretty quick even to todays standards lol. This could def take a police tahoe 😂. Maybe even the basic v6 explorer lol

Sadly, while the car might have been a Police vehicle at one point, The NYPD does not have an 8th Precinct, and the way the car is equipped with a Roof Light AND a McDermott Riser, tells me the person who built the vehicle, didn't bother to check on a few facts. The video quality suggests that the Pant color is not correct as well.. But the vehicle runs admirably, and handles as one would expect from a 4500 pound behemoth. Those cars were Hot Rods,and get up an Boogey when the need arose, as well as have a dashboard large enough to hold an 8 course dinner....

NYPD used this particular lightbar for units that patrolled the highways through the city. The back portion could extend up higher which could allow it greater visibility to motorists; give them a bit more warning father back.

JOHN SMITH that particular lightbar was used on HIGHWAY PATROL units on the NYPD. It featured two additional bars that rose up to two or three feet above the car roof for visibility to motorists.

Look at the 2020 Shelby GT500, 2022 Cadillac CT5 V blackwing, 2018 Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE, 2016 Dodge Viper ACR, 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 C8, and ect all can corner and beating many sports cars around the track
