The job of police officers isn’t to give directives & unlawful orders. Their job is to uphold the LAW. They’re not feelings enforcement officers, they’re LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. If no laws have been broken, there’s no need for anyone to be arrested. Qualified immunity needs to go ASAP. So that the next time someone files a lawsuit, the money can come directly out of the officer’s salary. If & only if & when this happens, trust me, you’ll see a lot less unlawful arrests.
