Police attempt to arrest Nicki Minaj in Amsterdam for allegedly carrying drugs

Nicki Minaj was apparently arrested in Amsterdam on Saturday for allegedly carrying drugs - despite the “Super Bass” songstress’ repeated instance that she had no contraband, according to Instagram Live footage she posted of the incident.
One official said that they wanted to take the “Bang Bang” rapper into custody for “carrying drugs,” the video showed.
“I’m not going in there. I need a lawyer present,” the 41-year-old replied.

attempt? they did arrest her, she was locked up for some hours and fined for only 350 dollars, she did miss her flight to the UK, but she also showed up 2-2,5 hour late for the performance in the Netherlands i heard. she was treated like anyone else breaking the rules here. seems she didnt do any proper research or had any legal person tell her what the rules were. but then again, she lives in her own world and probably to stubborn to listen to anyone tell her anything and acting on it, calling any resistance as a targeted attack on her or naming it racism.

And you will get one during questioning… Not during the actual arrest. Police (Marechaussee) even says that. She will only get a fine and be sent on her way. They were serious when they said they would do her best to expedite things for her to make her next show. You are in the Netherlands ffs, this is not America. 1) Obey and learn the local laws. 2) Generally speaking, the police just do their job. While there are exceptions, normally Dutch police are nowhere near as bad as the powertripping cops from the US. This doesn’t have to be a big deal.
