It's amazing to see George's intelligence at such young age. He sounds like an already experienced artist.
@zzz116667 жыл бұрын
He was 19 going on 45. I've never seen anyone so mature at that young age. I'm sure the music business makes you mature fast, but he had to have some of that beforehand to handle the sharks.

And it's even more amazing to think of how most of us in the '80s thought he was a puppet, a brainless symbol of Thatcherism, we applied that imagery to all those boy-bands like Duran or Spandau... they all turned out to be anti-thatcherite (apart from Tony Hadley).

Wow. They weren't just business partners. They were real friends. They really loved each other. George's passing must've left Andrew just absolutely heartbroken. He probably still is.

This was from a time when we were young, healthy and full of life and thought we'd live forever. Little do any of us know how our lives will play out or where we will in be when the end comes. Cherish your lives people, for it will go by so quickly, and by the time you realize your youth has left you, you won't know where the all time has gone and it will seem like just yesterday you were on top of the world. If there is an afterlife I surely hope to see all of you there.

George Michael seems as if he was so nice - he's really honest in this interview and doesn't put on any of that 'Look at me, I'm a big star' stuff that so many do. Especially as he's so young for all the fame. It doesn't seem to have gone to his head at all. He also seems very sensible. I realky love and admire the way that he could laugh at himself like when he was in the Extras Christmas special. It was so very, very sad that he died so young. He was so incredibly talented, such a fantastic voice. He's very much missed.

He was a vision of loveliness....a dream...

George never thought he was all that. George has always been critical of his looks. His fans always though he was gorgeous, and I am one of them. He is so multi-talented, and the voice is untouchable by any other artist. Thank God he never resorted to plastic surgery. God already made hin perfect.

Dave Mullins That's hilarious because it's true! We'd have to look at the historical record to see who copped it from whom but I think that Diana stole it from George. I seem to remember her hair being a bit more conservative in the first half of the 80's but I could be wrong. I have this weird thing where I attribute everything that happened in the 80's as occurring in 82 (those are things that I associate with the "early 80's), 84 (mid 80's) or 88 (late 80's). Obviously this isn't the case as there were plenty of other years in the 80's. But all of that aside, I associate this hair on George with 84 (mid) and Diana's hair as 88 (late). Isn't memory weird?
