How to Grow Winged Bean at Home / Seeds to Harvest for Beginners

I'm in Eastern Ontario 4B/5A agricultural zone here. We're trying to grow them this year. I started from seed to seedlings about 6 weeks ago that I grew under LED lights indoors. We just transplanted them out today to climb on both sides of a 10 foot length of cattle panel arch trellis. They were still pretty small plants. I'll find out soon if it works and gives us a harvest. We northern gardeners are an adventurous lot! :)

when it really comes to vegetables, I remember grandpa had a farm then but sad to say when grandpa died he left that farm. we were just going to harvest because we were young when grandpa planted ❤

Try DAP or Use NPK19

@SPDRAO123 My winged beans already bear flowers after using one of the stress technique for papaya. I thrust a metal screw into their main stems 2-3 inches from the ground and they produced flowers after 2 weeks. Unluckily, while having flowers, one slowly died maybe because of infection.
