My own country, India, has been chosen by thousands, if not millions of people from different races, religions and ethnicities. Our culture reflects this like a multifarious jewel. Anthropologically speaking, my own ethnicity, Bengali, is also a mixture of different races. I do not think it is detrimental to us, quite the opposite in fact. Thank you for pointing it out. From programming to this daily new encounters with people, from being on screen all day to watching people experience their first Dosa experience, is a complete change of world for them. They did that Idli- Sambhar to suit NYC style with miniature idlis in Hot Cuppa...fab idea...decoded a new way to serve it.
