1971, I was a little girl and came across a Playboy magazine. I don't think it was wrong but I wondered what would make a woman to do this ? I knew as al ittle girl that she the model wasn't proud of the work she was doing. It just didn't seem right. It had a dark cloud around the industry. It was the souls of all these women. ,, Put all the $ aside and what do you have ? A DIRTY OLD MAN. I Knew it as a little girl and now I'm 60 . I don't like that I didn't stand against Playboy and all the souls it crushed. SORRY LADIES 🙏

+LittleDuck Hugh Hefner started with $1000 from his mom, which may translate to $8200 today, and somehow got another $9000, or what would be $82,000 today. I think I might be able to start a business with $82,000....but turning it into the success that Hugh Hefner did would be a tough one. But living with all those Playboy Bunnies in their early 20s does seem very enticing...

Rest in peace Hef I really enjoyed the tv show *The girls of the playboy mansion* I loved that you had 4 gf or 8 gf they knew from the get go what the story was. You loved your children with all you heart they never wanted for nothing you not only took good care of them you gave and showed them love you didn't abandon them and because of this they have become grounded confident and honest people, an as a parent all we want is for our children is to be happy with themselves and not feel messed up by other peoples opinions and guilt. God bless to your family and there future xox

I wish he had been more of a public figure. He did have TV shows, but I really think he was afraid of being killed by some bible-thumping religious nut. Larry Flynt (Penthouse) was shot and paralyzed by one of those types. It could also have easily happened to HH if he had run for a political office or had continued in show business. Jealous and religious people are the most common and vicious murderers on this earth. Want to see the most devout Church Congregations in the USA ? Visit a PRISON on any Sunday.

+Mac You may be right. Like the PR spin that Playboy put on its past, such as paying money to get a liquour license and then coming back and getting the mayor arrested for accepting bribes...pure spin, probably.
