I would like to know more about Chinese art institutions and collections. For a number of years the Chinese have been buying back items of art removed or 'collected' from China by the imperial powers of the west, the most prominent of which is Britain.

My 1st tour of Asia (1950/51) was as Korean war veteran not very pleasant, as the one in 2017; which was 1st class all the way.. It’s Also available as E-books & POD Paperback : a.co/g4AUZoT it was a 12 day s tour, including Taipei, Manila & Hong Kong. Museums and Art Galleries was my special interest, and brought memories of a Japanese artist I made during the 2 years I was station there, Tanaka-san) who worked as a Laborer on the airbase I was stationed. I’ve also remembered him in my Korean war memoir. Next year I hope to revisit KOREA & JAPAN and do a (Now & Before) Photo-journal of it.. Question is will there be a market for it? Thank you Sir.
