Amtrak Dash 8's on the Borealis and Hiawatha

Amtrak Dash 8's on the Borealis and Hiawatha trains during the month of June. The introduction of the Borealis required Amtrak to add three train sets to the Chicago pool. This resulted in more opportunities for the Dash 8's to be used in service. Previously it was a rare occurrence to see a Dash 8 west of Milwaukee on CPKC's Watertown Sub. B32-8WHs Nos. 517, 518, and 519 are seen in this video.

Yes, CPKC is beginning to phase out the Soo Line era signals.

To be honest in my opinion, the Pepsi can paint scheme on engine number 160 should’ve been applied to dash 8 number 500. Just sayin

There's a Dash 8 on the borealis right now. Leads the borealis Today, Friday, and Sunday, and trails tomorrow, saturday, and monday
