I have never seen anyone else make hot toddy with apple juice, and I just feel so validated, and also nostalgic for my nan's, because she always managed to make it with something special that I've never been able to replicate. sure thing, it's so good! you need: - carton of apple juice (as many as you want for how much you want to make) - three cinnamon sticks and/or 1tsp powdered cinnamon - 1tsp cloves - 1tsp nutmeg - 1 cup of runny honey (+ optional if you're old enough - 1 shot scotch whiskey per serving) 1. add all ingredients to a large pot 2. bring to the boil and then simmer for 15 minutes, stirring until the honey has melted and mixed 3. serve hot you can also keep it in the fridge to reheat when you want it, and top it up with more juice at any time. the longer you keep it, the spicier it tastes!
