Despite having watched it last night when it first came out, I decided to write my comment the next morning once the big hype has died and I'm left with the highlights of the beautiful work by you, guys. Once again, I'm absolutely taken aback by the accuracy of characters portrayed and it doesn't stop making me hyperventilate every time one or the other headcanon about a certain character shows up that makes me scream: "THIS IS SO (insert their name here)!!" The storyline of Lucien was breathtakingly heartbreaking. As a sexually and romantically confused human being myself, I understand him well and it brought me to absolute tears. However, the one thing that finally caused me to completely lose it and sob like a baby was the very last scene. I have told you this before, but it's worth repeating it again. Your take on the relationship between Joseph and Robert is the most realistic and in-character approach I have seen/read/heard, etc. Joseph cares about Robert. He might be confused, scared and don't really think before doing certain things, but he cares, a lot, and if anything, that last scene clearly showed that to us and it makes me very happy to see that kind of approach to such a difficult and complicated story arc. And my goodness did my heart ache at the way Joseph looked at Robert when he started going off about Bigfoot again, as if he was a father listening to his children telling him about some crazy adventures they had in the backyard. I know, a crazy comparison, but let's just roll with it. All in all, once again, you did it, loves. And I am absolutely amazed by all that I've just seen.
@CatBetaBellanri12187 жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more. And if anything, the relationship between father and son here is by far the most relatable thing I've seen in a long time.

Ursula Lockwood I'm not crying, my eyes are just leaking. I loved the amount of work and thought that went into this video. The timing, the realistic and funny approach to the characters. I figured out my sexuality a few years ago thanks to my friends and actually thanks to your videos. You touched on a few topics and some things got me really thinking and connected a few dots for me. The father and son scene, it gave me the confidence to come out to my mother. I am planning to talk with her this weekend and hope that she will be as accepting as my father. (My parents are divorce and don't talk.) wish me luck.

I know many people who are like Lucien, and I have noticed commonalities in Damian's thoughts with my thoughts at times. I tend to eavesdrop and misunderstand other people at the worst times! Oh my god! The ending really got to me and I was just silently sobbing. The speech Damien made to Lucien is similar to the one my parents make to me every year and it made me more aware of how some of my friends don't have the joy of having parents who say that to them. I'm glad for Lucien that he has Damien and Joseph is listening to Robert now because.... Nobody deserves to be alone? also, bee's acting in this was absolutely incredible. obviously everyone was amazing, but the scene with bee and jack on the sofa about not knowing who you are really got to me. i was close to tears but still okay until bee just moved her eyebrow in one desperate little way and i absolutely lost it. i know these are supposed to be mostly comedic, but the power bee managed to portray in a few simple movements was really raw and rare? i don't usually get touched by talks or conversations on sexuality, but how lucien was so confused was super relatable and bee just made it real in the most beautiful way, so i wanted to take the time to congratulate you and just say; you did an awesome job, bee, and you should be so so happy with your skills because honestly, you're the type of actress i want to be when i grow up

the scene between damien and lucien made me cry- it was so perfectly portrayed and just so r eal. i can relate a lot to lucien, i'm just confused and terrified and i don't really understand how some people find it easy to figure out who they are, how they identify, who they like, while i still can't figure it out. the part that got to me the most was damien's reaction, more than just the emotions you could s ee on his face, was that he was there for lucien, and sure maybe he didn't fully understand what his son was going through but he was there for him regardless, and that always hits a soft spot in me because i really wish i had someone like that. :'' it's silly, i know, but all the same i can't quite help dreaming my point is, this whole skit was masterful- the comedy was perfectly timed, the acting was phenomenal, and it really resonated with me in a way most talks about the topic don't. thank you for making this masterpiece for us to enjoy!

The editing is great, the characters are beautifully developed, I loved how detailed the different settings and scenes were, and all of the acting performances were outstanding!! The ending scene with Damien and Lucien was simply moving, and it really resonated with my personal experience as a queer guy. Thank you for this video, I hope my comment is understandable (English isn't my native language) ❤︎

Give this an Oscar. The characters are so well portrayed and even though they aren’t all exactly doppelgängers of the original characters, the actors are well chosen for these parts. I still come back to watch this just because *it’s sO gOoD O mY gOd*

Hey, I was wondering if any of the NyxRising crew are going to Glasgow Raicon this year? Also this video is gold - 20 minutes of pure cosplay bliss.

Thank you for making this beautiful piece of well, art! It's so wonderfully acted, the story is heartwrenching, I was crying wAy more than I'd like to admit, and everything was done so well. I can see so much of Lucien in me and my process of finding myself, it was like watching a mirror and it made me feel so amazing so thank you I really needed this today. THANK YOU ALL FOR EXISTING AND MAKING GORGEOUS VIDEOS!

That scene where Damien and Lucien talked made me cry a lot because i had trouble telling my parents that i was bisexual last year. They accepted me and after we talked, i went to my room and cried for hours because i realised that i was surrounded by people who accept me. Im glad you did this scene 💙💜
