I’d probably start with the checking the vct solenoids. See if I could activate them and compare a known good with that bank 2 intake solenoid: see if it sounds any different

Just a backyard wrencher here. Just a wild guess I would start with the variable valve timing sensors. Read that the EcoBoost have issues with them. Just a wild guess.

Probably check for vct activation via jumper wire then check actual vs desired on scan data of cam phasers. 9/10 times the phasers go bad
