Congrats on passing but you were indicating far too early! If you’re coming to a light, or road where you’re going to turn, make sure you have already driven past all driveways or other roads. If someone was waiting to turn out of them, and you were indicating prematurely, that could be a signal to them to pull out and cause a crash. Just some friendly advice 😁

Sounds like the same instructor I had when I done it may 2023. She's very chill. She gave me a chance after I slept on the green arrow at 1:47 and also gave me a another chance by telling me to stop driving aggressively. Seems like the route changed aswell, I drove on fred taylor, west harbour and massey.

Awesome and very helpful, appreciate to share! Everyone told me that westgate is hard to pass so I am so nervous lol. And just one question, should I get approve from them to upload video or just do it (of course all faces will be hided ). Cuz once I attend the test I would like to upload as well lol

Normally, they don't allow you to record the route. Westgate is pretty much easy compared to other centers. Good Luck.

Is this a conversion test? Because, there was no hazzard ID, no parkng, and no 3 point turn/U turn. If this is a coversion test then you probably should add thay to the title of this video.

@@hindachris8768 The New Lynn branch tends to be busier and more crowded than Westgate. By scheduling your test for an early time, such as 8:00 a.m., you increase your chances of passing. Additionally, since these days coincide with school holidays, there should be less traffic, further improving your testing conditions.

What were the speeds on the roads you were driving on? only saw maybe one or two speed signs whilst you were driving. Also what was the speed on the road when pulling out of the VTNZ onto that road?

There is no speed limit when you pulling out of the VTNZ onto the road. All other places you should maintain 50kmph speed limit. If there is any School Zone you have to maintain 40kmph speed limit. In this test I have maintained 45-50 kmph speed limit other than school zones.

Legally, you shouldn't drive to the center on your own. However, they never checked whether I came with someone else or not

No reverse in conversion. Yes, you have to maintain 40kmph speed when there is a school.

It's around 8.00 AM. It's better in the early morning. Because no rush and Supervisors are more friendly in mornings.

Normally, Its about 20 - 25 minutes. it took 1-3 minutes to check the vehicle condition. then 15-20 minutes to do the road test.

Thank you for the reply. I failed yesterday here. I stop at the stop sign for a few seconds, but i was confused about how to stop. Do i need to pull the handbrake or just stop for a 3 seconds or how. Should I stop the engine? Or just put the car in the parking mode to stop? Thank you so much for your reply @KiwiBloke_SL

@@haroharono at the stop, no need for handbrake or parking, just brske, stop, check right/left, once clear move on. Remember you hv to gv priority to vehicles on right

Can u plz guide me the speed limits...is it clearly mentioned on the side of the road, shall we follow 30 in the inner streets and 5o to 60 in the main roads...plz guide for speed etc..my test is on 30th ...Need some suggestions...I failed in newlyn vtnz test as few streets in newlyn had sneaky board sign showing 30 and I couldn't see them at all n drove 40n failed.. plz suggest..

@kritikagupta9128 you need follow exactly what you see on the street. If it say 15 then you should drive 15/kh or if you see 50/kh you can drive the safe limit between 45/kh to 55/kh. Don't go more than 5/kh from the actual limit.
