When your away from home, you will do anything to make your fellow country men and women feel like they’re home with that sort of welcoming. Sooooo much respect to the sevens team for doing this. And sooo happy and proud to be a kiwi. I had to fight back tears for this one. 😂

In our culture (Maori) it is normal / expected that after someone speaks in situations like this the speaker or the people with him will sing a waiata (song) to show support for the speaker. Most rugby teams especially our National teams will follow this protocol.

@@joep7584 how quaint. If I could pat you on the head I would. How’s the literacy and numeracy? I see you people are given time off proper education to practice your little dances. That’s why you people want everything handed to you,can’t make it like normal people.
@Darkcollosus81

@@daldydircymrurydd3727 I can't quite figure out whether you are horribly ignorant or just a callous individual, either way I feel sorry for you (no need to respond btw, clearly you can't recognize your own ignorance, so I'll go with callous for now). Given your YT name, I'm assuming you are Welsh. You must be in the 0.1%, because all the Welsh people I have met have been extremely respectful of Maori culture. Perhaps you have been cut off from your own culture, and that manifests itself in destructive ways. If that is the case, yet again, I feel sorry for you. If education is so important to you, please expend some energy learning about culture and customs past your own letterbox. Trust me, it'll make you more normal.
