Thank you so much for your reviews, I just finished assembling this model and no way I could have done so without your, very useful, video. Your explanations helped me much more than NZG's instruction sheets. I must say it was frustrating and my process was not as smooth as yours. One of the most frustrating things was that many of the little screws tended to "float" inside that special, NZG provided, tool. Anyway, once done it is a beautiful and impressive model.

This model has everything a scale model has to have. Totally agree with the final score. Outstanding video as always!

The basic crawler unit appears very similar to the one used on the LRB 225 hydraulic pile driver/earth drill model (which NZG released before the HS 855 model), which is equipped with a redundant cable winch drum (for the LRB 225 model). I suppose (at the time), NZG intended to release a (future) model of the HS 855 crane that would use this drum.
