After 136 years of a male-led rugby union, former Black Fern Cherry Blyde is Taranaki Rugby's first female president.
After leaving town for farming life, quitting netball and athletics for women's rugby and representing New Zealand, and helping raise Black Fern Michaela Blyde, Cherry is not daunted by her new role.
