A Scenic Harley-Davidson ride around the island of O'ahu. Matt Laidlaw picks up a couple of bikes with his friend Dan and gets the inside track of the best roads on the island from a local - Chris Wong. They spend the day riding around the island and capturing all the beauty of the tropic, island landscapes. From Honolulu to the north shore, the guys cover just about everything on two wheels!

I did this ride 21 years ago. Me and a buddy rented HDs. It was an epic experience. It’s nice to see it done and watch the scenery. It’s one of those things you have to do if you ever get the opportunity that’s for sure. As always excellent job.

Whew! I'm glad those kids liked the Road Glide better than the Low Rider - S. I just picked up last week a 2020 RG Special #1 edition. Supposedly HD only made about 750 of that edition. My sister in-law lives on the big island and I wonder when I go visit if there's a HD rental there?

Great video, Matt! Hawaii is truly an amazing place. I lived on the south shore in '89 and have returned to the islands many times since then. flying out to Oahu in 11 days for vaca. Hopefully we'll get a nice south swell while we're on the rock and I'm Definitely hitting up Chase for a RG for a day.

Good Time...I done the Harley O'ahu ride in 2015. Rented at Chase, a Streetglide for 3 days and searched out all the nooks and crannys on the island. Magical place away form the city. I stayed up on the north shore with the locals in a rented cabin in a back yard. Loco Moco the best at Tita's Grill on the north shore...SHAKA !

Hi Matt! I always enjoy your moto trip vlogs. The scenery is beautiful, and you provide a lot of extra information about the interesting places you drive through. However, I have a question: How much does filming detract from your enjoyment on that kind of trip? I mean, taking the camera/drone out, filming, checking if everything looks good, and setting up tripods, etc. I'm asking because I own a GoPro, but every time I take it on mototrips, I'm constantly thinking about where and how to film/take pictures. I can't fully relax and enjoy the ride. Nevertheless, I'm grateful that you do it because we can enjoy and dream about taking trips like this.

I remember renting a scooter on Oahu over 20 years ago. I loved seeing the island that way. I ventured over to diamond head and then followed it coastal which looking back now I don’t think I was supposed to be on that road on a scooter lmao. Would love to go back and ride again.
