This gunman was intent on taking many, many lives. He chained doors and super glued locks to make sure no one escaped. That is what the gunman at Virginia Tech did, I believed he killed 33 students and instructors. Dr. Cheng was a remarkable hero.

My deepest sympathy for his family, friends, and patients 🙏 This is a terrible loss. I don't know if I would take the action he did, but I would like to think so. Not to be a hero, but to defeat racism and what's happening in this country. I'm sure Dr. Cheng didn't say to himself "I want to be a hero" before he went after the perp. But sadly, he now is and no longer can help sick people and hug his loved ones.
