Wow!-- those pedal tones and subtle early exposition, and then the modulation taking it on a more "earthy" jazz-bluesy ride (as you explain). This melody deserved a jazz reharmonization & this is just a really rewarding experience. Thanks Kent for the great present & Merry Christmas!

Thanks Kent, I have the download and can play it without much difficulty. Will practice it some more the next few days along with some other Christmas music and play in house Christmas Day for a small group of dinner guests!
