i was broken hurt and bruised. a boy with a broken identity, who believed he was born homosexual. the deeper the lust and the sexual encounters, the emptier i felt. Emptier and emptier. i had no joy nor peace in my life, i had a distorted view of what love is, and the more i sought after this the less it satisfied me and the more i needed it. Deep down i knew that my lifestyle was wrong, but i was bound by chains and fetters, i started drinking, i started cutting myself to feel. my sexual encounters became more and more sick, and one evening, when i went with someone i never met and never knew, i hit rock bottom, i was so broken, i was so overwhelmed by the weight of my sinful life. i was sinking deep in sin, i was far from the Peaceful shore, but the Master of the Sea came and lifted me out of the pit of destruction. Jesus Christ was with me when i did the filthiest things, He was calling me back to Father everyday. One evening, the weight of my sin was so strong and weighed me down like a 1000 ton of cement, the Holy Spirit convicted me of the life i was living, homosexuality, alcoholism, lust, self-mutilation, self-centeredness, pride, lying... as I was feeling all of this, the Father manifested His LOVE, GRACE & MERCY to me through Jesus Christ. I never felt such love - He moved with such authority yet with such LOVE and COMPASSION. I knew that there is a GOD. Now saved am i, cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ, i am dead to my sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. Now my life is a declaration to the Messiah, HE is The Way, The Truth & The Life. I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good! Washed and cleansed by the precious Blood of my Jesus Christ! HALLELUJAH!!!!! Psalm 40:2-3 "He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet on a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God; many will see it, and fear, and will trust in the Lord"

hey, I am encouraged by your story! I've got a close friend who's got the same thing going on...and reading this reminds me that God thinks everyone is so important. he's got it :) and hey...when you run into your own sin don't ever forget that we overcome by the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). Out loud talk aboit what God has done for you. There's a lot of stuff that Jesus' blood paid for, spiritual laws and consequences... but don't you ever let anyone make you believe that you are undeserving because of your past or your present. Because Jesus died for you, you have a right to a healthy body, a sound mind, and the life God has for you. Stay blessed to be a blessing!

Before I was saved I was always bullied in school for how I looked or talked, and I always was left out of the crowd I never really had friends, I just wanted to be accepted by somebody!!! So at this time I’m between grades 7-8 and I’m about 12-13 years old at the time. I started trying to fit in and do the things and listen to the things that were “cool” at the time I missed 8th graduation because I didn’t have anything nice to wear my single mother didn’t really have money to spend on clothes she did what she could. After elementary school my mother met a guy and he became her boyfriend. He eventually moved in and then eventually had say to what goes on and basically became the father figure for me and my brother. My brother knows his biological dad but just doesn’t live in the same house. I never knew my biological dad to I took a liking to my mothers new boyfriend, we became cool, but later down the line he the first signs of abuse were arising. Now at this point it’s around 2014 i for some reason grabbed a Bible from my closet and went directly to revelation, and read it from beginning to end, I still wasn’t really firm in the faith I was confused I thought revelation was literal I feared God but for the wrong reason I feared him because I didn’t wanna experience those things because I was a sinner so fast forward to during 2014 to about almost 2015, my mother and him will have arguments and they weren’t bad at first at least to my knowledge. She’ll walk around looking upset going her way and he’ll just sit in the room doing his own thing basically she was afraid to be around him at those times, things will blow over then something will trigger a argument and she’ll threaten to kick him out it got to the point to where she did, he came back apologizing and you know how that goes. Now I’ll get to the point of why I’m sharing this testimony. As the arguments progress he starts putting his hands on my mother for the most part it was always in their room so we couldn’t see but we could hear the commotion and my mom telling him to let go of her and there was a day when the arguments started again and he became abusive were young we can’t just stand up to him we feared him, he was so loud and aggressive and we feared being hurt , he’d threatened to kill her and all of us, that day, and before I explain this part I’m telling about this part because this is what my mother told me after the fact, she told me he bound her to the bed taped a sock over her mouth and told her he don’t wanna let us hear her scream he was gonna kill her, and he began using a spray can and a lighter spraying at her face not making contact with her face, but just getting closer and closer then he began lighting spot on the sheet with a lighter then he goes to the kitchen grabs a bottle of bleach and started the stove idk what he was going to do but Slye had a big steak knife once he left the room to go do that, my mother got up and shut the door and locked it he got enraged and kicked the door down and keep in mind leading up to this part I was in my room crying and praying to God, he kicked down the door and she had a phone!!!! She was on the phone with 9-1-1 once he realized that he hurried and left that wasn’t the end of him but that day he was going to kill her and maybe all of us by taking bleach to the stove maybe blowing up the house, I believe that God saved us if she didn’t have that phone who knows what would’ve happened he heard me crying and praying, he got us out that situation and that guy is in another state!!! Praise the Lord!!! Now I was still lost and confused I didn’t really have a firm belief in anything I always knew God existed but thought that was what it meant to believe in God, i used to get asked that in school but I started dealing with the Jehovah’s witnesses and Mormons and nothing was making sense to me, one group would believe one thing and the other group would believe another it got so bad to where I had a meeting with Mormon missionaries and Jehovah’s witnesses came to the door so it was a awkward moment for all of us. But I’m sharing this testimony and hopes it motivates someone out there who is like me to never give up faith God loves you, he’s real and is alive hearing our prayers everyday, he saved my life and I can testify that He loves us and that He died for our sins so that we may have salvation through Jesus Christ, and he changed my life, there’s so much more to talk about but this comment will end up being a small book lol, but I hope that those who are going through what I went through to just cry out to God plead with him to save you, accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and he’ll save you and protect you! God bless you all, I live you all... may God be with you all and that he’ll touch your hearts in Jesus name, Amen!

In July I went on a missions trip to Haiti and God broke my heart into a million pieces, every night my group had worship and devotions (sometimes worship went on for hours) and this song helped me talk to God and he picked up the pieces of my heart and formed my heart into the way he wanted it to be. "leave behind your regrets and mistakes...Jesus is calling" I never really knew what that meant. I do now, from the ashes a new life, my new life, was born... He called, I answered. My Father loves me (and you, and you, and you!!) His Love is something I will never understand (and definitely never deserve), but I am forever greatful and absolutely humbled. Thank you guys for this release...absolutely amazing worship. You all have been blessed with amazing talents by our Heavenly Father, please never stop using them!
