O Divine Redeemer | Niver, Cox, Schaumann

Charles Gounod's "O Divine Redeemer" (Repentir) and Carl Bloch's "Christ Healing the Sick at Bethesda" share many of the same contrasting themes: darkness and light, despair and hope, fear and trust, pain and healing. Neither really shows the resolution of these themes, but both hint at the direction such a resolution might take.

Nice voice. But she needs to open the back of her throat a lot more. And sing into her chest. You can hear her tightening as she gses to that big note "grant me PARDON" a lot more opening needee
