I first heard this song back in 1980 sang by Mohd Rafi himself, he was superb .. and today after almost 37 years, I'm listening to Rajesh Panwar for the first time; singing the very same song I first came to know Mohd Rafi by..oh my god his voice is so beautiful. I never like to compare the original artist because Mohd Rafi is a legend of his onself during his time and so is Rajesh Panwar in his generation. Rajesh Pawar I probably can't comment on this because I may not be able to sing as good as you, sir. "Mehel udaas aur galliyan sooni" variation was executed beautifully. 😊 I really enjoyed the performance, sir. Just a little observation. The tabla seem to have loosened up a little because, and maybe I am wrong, it appears to have reached half a note below the actual scale. Nonetheless, you have a gift, sir. May the soul of Rafi ji smile on you.
