I want to warn you guys of judging a person by the way the hold their hands. Yes, it can be a tell of how experienced a fighter is, but it is not a tell all. The more important thing to see in all of this was his reaction to Eli’s forward progression. He didn’t panic and his defensive stance stood firm. The true question is can he throw quick and precise strikes from that stance? Your judging his hand placement assuming he can’t fight without seeing weather it is efficient for him or not. Imagine a fast jab or hook or over the shoulder hook comes so fast it knocks Eli out? To the eye Eli looks very experienced, aggressive and smart. Percy looked stable, smart as well knowing when to reset and reposition when Eli got with striking distance, withought seeing him ever attack I can’t say much, his hand placement was ver unorthodox but I can’t give much of an assessment other than that.
