O Gauge Layout Update #9 - Kiski Division

Went to the local train show this weekend and got a nice little haul. I also decided to redo an existing portion of scenery on the layout.

What you say about buying on line is so true. Nothing like show where you have the piece in hand to examine. First hand person to person price discussion. And no shipping cost and tax, you carry piece out with you. Happy and knowing exactly what you purchased and paid.

I'll still buy my locomotives almost exclusively online, but for rolling stock train shows are superior in my opinion. Prices are usually dirt cheap

Couldn’t help but notice the similarities between when we’re in the car driving down the interstate and scenery in your basement. Enjoyed the video. I’m glad your finishing the layout. Maybe parts of it can be moved to your future layout. Always like your videos.

Thanks! I don't foresee me finishing the entire thing, but I do want to continue work on the scenery that is already started. The areas of the layout that are bare benchwork will probably remain that way until the layout is eventually torn down.

I like your plaster of paris rock work. Just a thought, have you considered fencing between the rock area and the track to prevent rocks from rolling on to the track? I love the weathering you did on the Trainmaster.
