@Malukah This will be a longer post than I would normally make, so please bear with me. In 1967, right before Christmas a young man from our Church was sent to Vietnam. His Sister-In-Law had a beautiful voice, and each Christmas, she would sing this song. Four months after being sent to Vietnam, he was a casualty of that war. The following Christmas his Sister-In-Law stood before the congregation, and started to sing, and never made through the first stanza. Since that day, I have not be able to hear this song without pain and sadness setting in before it's half-way through. Until today. For the first time since 1967, I was able to feel joy, and lose myself in the song. Chills from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. Thank you so very much for bringing some joy from this song back again.
