I was working at a Quiznos when Skyrim was released. There was a Gamestop right behind our store and my manager, myself and a couple of my friends had pre-ordered it. Release night my manager bought a fifth of rum and we closed down the store early to walk over and pregame while waiting in line. I was 22 or so at the time and it was a blast. We had all played Morrowwind and were so pumped for Skyrim. We all got our copies and went to a friends house to play. I remember nothing about the gameplay that first time but the overall experience I'll never forget. Hearing this song really makes me nostalgic for that time.

What a wonderful space opera, between the games, the comics, the game music and the Mass Effect fan vids taken to You tube and the comments from fans of the Mass Effect saga, I don't know, but every time I've finished The game feels like loneliness invades me, it is really an exciting work, but what I can't understand is how many video games and anime have been brought to the big screen and Mass Effect is not there with all the fans that follow it. I have to go now, over and out.

I feel now that 2011 was the year of the last truely classic videogames Skyrim, Dark Souls, Minecraft had an unparelled amount of memes and fancontent and are still culturally relevant to this day, stuff like "i took an arrow to the knee" was around for years. You don't really see that level of love anymore closest we've had is probably Eldren Ring.
