sir what is the difference between a shift in the *point* on a PPC and a shift in the *curve* on a PPC?

When a point moves below the PPC, it means that resources are not being used effectively. the economy has resources but is not using them full such as unemployment. the economy has labor but is not utilizing them fully. PPC will shift when the quantity or quality of resources change. If the economy loses some of its labor in the form of emigration (labor going out of the country), PPC will shift backwards.
