O Lucky Man! 1973 series

Hello Cineram, I appreciate you putting the review up. I do agree that the film is disjointed and can drag a bit, but the random, capricious episodes are both dreamlike but also real as there is often no apparent logic to life, itself, apart from luck, of course. The idea of the same actors playing different changing characters are surreal as they represent themes and it makes them comic. as we impose our ideas of others onto apparent similar characters as we go through life. . Having said that, there is development in the main character who is made by events to shed his aquisitive, conventional outlook and to look inside to be a better person, even though he gets slammed back onto his back, when he comes out of prison. However, it is possible that he is woken up from sinking into depression when Lindsay slaps him in the end. He kind of wakes up and enjoys the present moment. MM is excellent in this. He is compelling throughout and resonates with his character. The songs are excellent also. They are actually brilliant. despite the band's acting being pretty sloppy. It really is a treasure. However I am 55 and old school when it comes to films. I also love looking at those old cars from my childhood.

That's for the comment. I admit I haven't seen this in quite a while (it's been 3 years since I made this video), but I'm sure I couldn't understand it fully after only seeing it one time. Thanks for your insight, and thanks for taking the time to listen to me ramble!
