I grew up a Butcher and retired as one from the Union. Now a butcher at a full service shop ONLY makes 20/hr. Back then it was a great job that provided a living for a family. When I became a Butcher in the early 90s alot of guys were getting close to retire. These men had put kids thru college on 20/hr...stuff was just cheaper then.
