Thanks. I would never have considered owning a dummy unit; but I’d get one of these. Look forward to releases in other motive power.

Nice review. Dummy units are great to have to create longer lash-ups. I'm not sure about Legacy but with DCS, I believe you can only do 3 powered units at a time. I need to get a few non-powered units for this purpose. Hope to see a layout update soon.

I’m not a huge fan of dummy units because the powered units have to pull that dummy unit in addition to all the rolling stock but I wanted to have something different than a standard diesel. Thanks for the feedback!

Is there a way to turn super bass on and off, leavening the other engines sound on? Is your microphone capable of picking up the difference? I really could not hear any supper bass. By the way nice layout progression,

I was wondering the same.

Great, excellent video. Which brand is the box car ? The blue one ?
@jrsoscaletrains2 жыл бұрын
If you are asking about the first blue one, it's made by Atlas. It's a 60' Berwick Highcube boxcar. I have three of them.

I have this same CSX Super Bass engine (Lionel P/N: 2233058). In my opinion there is no "worthy" difference in sound between a Super Bass unit and any other late model Rail Sounds Legacy engine I have.
@jrsoscaletrains2 жыл бұрын
I would have to agree with you on that. I don't hear a difference between a powered unit and a "superbass" unit. I still think my superbass usit is cool because it has all the features of a powered unit without the motors.

Is that engine legacy

Id use a dummy just to make my non sounding SD45 sound more alive.
@jrsoscaletrains Жыл бұрын
You could definitely do that! I have diesel sound boxcar that I can put behind some of my engines that don’t have sound.

@@jrsoscaletrains i was surprised Bachmann locomotives run on fast track and a CW80 transformer the first time i tried it.

There is no such thing as a "lash-up" its called a locomotive consist!

Well that’s what I’ve heard people in the hobby call it.
