the original aqueduct ran across the back of my place, the bit from Gaudion Basin to Olinda Tank. No sign of it now. The legacy is that I have a private main from the "new" aqueduct (Gaudion to Silvan Res.) via a 38mm pipe.

Looking to ride the trail and I see still on the Parks' website "Dee Rd Trestle Bridge Closed". I'm sure they'll eventually find a few million dollars to build a fancy new steel raised walkway that will completely bypass this section of track.

Very interesting! We go riding up there every couple of years & the bridge being out would be a real pain. I wonder if they’ve fixed it? Sounds like it was still closed in March this year.

It wasn't fixed when I rode the trail 2 weeks ago...looked exactly the same as this video
